Oracle M12-2 Base Server with 3.9GHz 12-Core CPU/Memory Unit (lack of one card)

Fujitsu SPARC M12‑2 Server is a mid‑range 2‑rack‑unit enterprise UNIX server within the SPARC M12 product family, jointly engineered by Fujitsu and Oracle. The system can be configured with 1‑2 SPARC64 XII processors (12‑core each, 3.9 GHz or 4.25 GHz). Each core provides 8 hardware threads, delivering up to 192 hardware threads for intensive multi‑threaded enterprise computing. The platform supports up to 3 TB DDR4 ECC memory. It features the advanced Software‑on‑Chip (SWOC) acceleration embedded inside the SPARC64 XII CPU, which speeds‑up Oracle database arithmetic operations and crypto processing, effectively lowering database‑related CPU overhead. Capacity‑on‑Demand (COD) core‑activation allows customers to enable additional processor cores dynamically during runtime, so IT capacity can grow gradually along with business requirements and reduce initial investment. Redundant hot‑swappable power supplies and fan assemblies improve fault tolerance. The embedded XSCF service processor offers remote out‑of‑band hardware monitoring, firmware management and system diagnostics. For server consolidation, it supports Oracle VM Server for SPARC (LDoms) logical domains as well as Solaris Zones. It does not support legacy PPAR physical hardware domains. Running Oracle Solaris 10 or Solaris 11 with binary compatibility for legacy UNIX applications, the SPARC M12‑2 is widely deployed for medium‑large OLTP databases, ERP, CRM and financial backend mission‑critical systemsOracle.
