Oracle Sun Fujitsu SPARC M10‑4 Server
Oracle Sun Fujitsu M10-4 7086555/7060817 Lower 16-Core 2.8GHz CPU/Memory Unit (CMULQN_A) 16 Core active
Fujitsu SPARC M10‑4 Server is a mid‑range 4‑RU rack‑mount enterprise UNIX server within the SPARC M10 family, jointly engineered by Fujitsu and Oracle. The system can be populated with 2‑4 SPARC64 X or SPARC64 X+ processors, reaching a maximum of 64 physical cores and 128 hardware threads. It adopts Capacity‑on‑Demand core‑activation technology, allowing customers to activate CPU cores incrementally according to business growth, which reduces upfront capital expenditure. The server supports up to 2 TB DDR3 memory, 8 internal SAS disk bays, and 11 built‑in PCI‑E 3.0 slots; external PCI‑E expansion units can be attached for further I/O expansion. The unique Software‑on‑Chip acceleration built inside the CPU accelerates Oracle database operations and cryptographic processing. Redundant hot‑swappable power supplies and fan modules deliver high fault tolerance. The embedded XSCF service processor provides out‑of‑band remote monitoring, firmware management and hardware diagnostics. It supports Oracle VM Server for SPARC (LDoms) logical domains as well as Solaris Zones for server consolidation. Running Oracle Solaris 10 or 11 with guaranteed binary compatibility for legacy UNIX applications, the M10‑4 is widely deployed for large‑scale OLTP databases, ERP, CRM and financial core backend systems.
