Oracle Server X6‑4 is a 3U rack‑mounted high‑end enterprise‑class x86 server, purpose‑built for memory‑intensive mission‑critical workloads, including large Oracle database deployment, in‑memory analytics, data warehouse OLAP, and heavy enterprise application consolidation.

The platform supports two or four Intel® Xeon® E7‑8800 v4 series processors with a maximum of 24 cores per socket. It is equipped with 96 DDR4 DIMM slots supporting maximum system memory up to 6 TB, which is critical for running large in‑memory database workloads. The front chassis accommodates six hot‑swap 2.5‑inch drive bays supporting SAS‑3 HDD, SATA‑SSD and high‑performance NVMe‑SSD storage.
