Oracle Server X7‑2 is a 1U dual‑socket enterprise‑grade rack‑mount x86 server, designed to run mission‑critical business workloads including Oracle Database and Oracle Real Application Clusters (RAC)Oracle. Powered by up to two 1st‑generation Intel® Xeon® Scalable Silver, Gold or Platinum processors with a maximum of 24 cores per socket, the system is equipped with 24 DDR4‑2666 DIMM slots supporting up to 1.5 TB of main memory. The chassis accommodates up to eight 2.5‑inch hot‑swap drive bays for SAS‑3 HDD, SATA‑SSD or high‑speed NVMe SSD, and it also includes dual internal M.2 flash drives for OS boot. There are four low‑profile PCI‑Express Gen‑3 expansion slots for network adapters and storage HBAs.

Redundant hot‑swappable power supplies and fan modules reduce unplanned hardware downtime.
